After much debate and discussion, we at The White House Hotel have decided that we need to adapt to the new environment we find ourselves in.
Up to now, Government advice for the industry has been unclear but we need to take action now to help prevent further virus spread.
The hotel side of our business will continue almost as normal with breakfast tables spread out to minimise person to person contact. Rooms will be sanitised before and after every use and staff will be adopting an enhanced cleaning regime, with regular hand washing, sanitising surfaces and reduced contact between themselves.
As a small business who uses local suppliers, we will endeavour to keep our restaurant open for as long as we can. The restaurant will remain open with tables well-spaced, eating times staggered and cutlery and glasses delivered to each table at the last minute. We will also be offering a take-away and delivery service where customers can still enjoy our food without having to leave their homes. As things stand we will be open for Mother’s Day lunch on 22nd March.
We would like to thank our many customers for their support at this time and we look forward to resuming a normal service as soon as possible.
